Continuing education
- The Center for Continuing Education in the Health Sciences sponsors CME and CNE courses.

Nursing education
- The Office of Professional Nursing supports a wide range of educational opportunities for nurses.
Training programs
DHMC sponsors two training programs leading to certification:
- School of Surgical Technology. In less than a year, students develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to assist members of the entire intraoperative team.
- Medical Secretary Training Program. One of DHMC's most popular offerings, we will hire and train six to eight people as medical secretaries. After successful completion of the training program, the new medical secretary will be employed by our clinical secretary float pool and eventually transfer into a specific position within the institution.
