LNAs
General orientation
All employees begin employment by attending general orientation, which is offered every Monday. View the schedule of the day. General orientation is held at DHMC in the auditoriums to the right of the Main Rotunda information desk and runs from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Electronic health record training
New employees who require access to eD-H, the electronic health record, must attend eD-H training in the Colburn Hill classrooms. eD-H training is offered every Tuesday. LNAs attend eD-H training from 7:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Experienced LNA Orientation
After attending general orientation and eD-H training, newly hired experienced LNAs participate in Experienced LNA Orientation. The session is offered once a month, and begins on the following dates:
- Tuesday, April 3
- Tuesday, May 1
- Tuesday, June 12
- Tuesday, July 24
- Tuesday, August 21
If your hire date coincides with the week the Experienced LNA Orientation program starts, you will attend Experienced LNA Orientation immediately after eD-H training on Tuesday.
If your hire date does not coincide with the week the LNA Orientation program starts, please talk with your manager and/or clinical educator about when you will participate.
Your final orientation schedule, including location information, will be available to you on your first day.
